Hosting of DR Servers

Many companies we speak to want to host their DR servers in an off-site location, but don’t have their own second datacenter. The problem they encounter co-locating their servers with a 3rd party datacenter is that most datacenters will only rent you one full rack.  This is usually too much space for DR servers that are often only a few machines or virtualized.

Pantropic solves this problem by renting the rack space in bulk and then carving it up for our customers. So, if you only need a quarter rack, that’s all you pay for.

We can also arrange dedicated bandwidth to your quarter rack, so you can be sure the pipe will be available when you need it.

Standby Infrastructure

Some companies have asked us to maintain standby infrastructure for them.  This can range from network equipment to Sun servers to virtual machines.  Some companies don’t mind having it on standby on a shared basis with other customers, while other companies want it dedicated.

Monitoring of DR Infrastructure
