Pantropic has developed expertise in wide range of data protection and disaster recovery solutions that can be broadly categorized under the five major headings.
- Data Protection and Archiving: includes the products we normally use for backing up our customer’s data to a backup infrastructure. This section also includes products used for imaging, bare metal restore, and email archiving.
- Application Availability: includes the products we trust the most to make sure that your mission critical applications stay up and available. We usually do this through asynchronous replication across the LAN or WAN, but it can also be done using fault tolerant servers.
- Business Continuity and Remote Access: includes the solutions that are used for allowing you to connect to people and applications when you are physically away from the office.
- Virtualization: we tested a number of virtualization solutions for how well they work with our other disaster recovery products. Check and see which ones we found work best.
- Hardware and Storage Management: most of our products will work well on any vendor’s hardware, but we have favourites that you can see here. We also found some interesting storage management tools that you might find useful.
