Regulators and company boards are getting more and more concerned with data residency issues. They often want to know where your backup data is being stored, and sometimes they even want the ability to inspect the backup infrastructure. Our ATEGO Lite service was designed to meet these concerns. The backup servers are entirely managed by Pantropic, and are hosted in co-located racks in a Singapore datacentre. We never send your data outside of Singapore, and you can schedule a visit to our datacentre when necessary.

The technology behind ATEGO Lite is Code42’s award winning backup solution. It lets you experience ease of use, total security and continuous real-time data protection whether you’re working on your office desktop computer or presenting important facts and figures on your laptop to client at a nearby coffee shop – as long as you are connected to the internet. Scheduled backup operation runs fully automated in the background and leaves your active applications uninterrupted.

Your data is secured before and after transmission using AES encryption, and you get to choose how the encryption keys are managed. You can use the default username/password security, or you can archive the key on the backup server, or you can store your own private keys. Each method has a trade-off between convenience and security, but most importantly, you get to decide.
